Caitlin Clark of the Indiana Fever and Napheesa Collier of the Minnesota Lynx have been selected as the captains for the 2025 AT&T WNBA All-Star Game.

• Aliyah Boston, Fever (3rd All-Star selection): The 6-5 center-forward has been voted to the All-Star Game in each of her three WNBA seasons. 

• Paige Bueckers, Wings (1st All-Star selection): The No. 1 overall selection in the 2025 WNBA Draft presented by State Farm, Bueckers ranks 11th in the league in scoring (18.4 ppg) and sixth in assists (5.8 apg), pacing all rookies in both categories. 

• Caitlin Clark, Fever (2nd All-Star selection): The reigning Kia WNBA Rookie of the Year and 2024 All-WNBA First Team selection is an All-Star for the second straight year and a first-time All-Star captain.

• Napheesa Collier, Lynx (5th All-Star selection): The 6-1 forward has been named to five of the six most recent All-Star Games, missing only the 2022 contest when returning from the birth of her daughter. 

• Allisha Gray, Dream (3rd All-Star selection): An All-Star for the third consecutive year, Gray ranks fifth in the league in scoring (a career-high 19.5 ppg). 

• Sabrina Ionescu, Liberty (4th All-Star selection): Ionescu, who last season helped New York win the WNBA Finals presented by YouTube TV for the first time in franchise history, became the Liberty’s all-time leader in made three-point shots (417) earlier this month. 

• Nneka Ogwumike, Storm (10thAll-Star selection): Ogwumike ranks 13th in the WNBA in scoring (17.0 ppg) and ninth in rebounding (7.9 rpg) this season. The No. 1 overall draft pick in 2012, Ogwumike has been named to the All-WNBA Team seven times.

• Satou Sabally, Mercury (3rd All-Star selection): An All-WNBA First Team selection and the Kia WNBA Most Improved Player in 2023, Sabally is an All-Star in her first season with Phoenix. 

• Breanna Stewart, Liberty (7th All-Star selection): Stewart, a two-time Kia WNBA MVP who helped New York win the WNBA Finals presented by YouTube TV last season, is an All-Star for the fifth straight season.

About our hosts, venue and the city of Innsbruck:

The host league, Fearless Bruisers Roller Derby Innsbruck, were established in 2016, during the years when Austrian Roller Derby was just getting its wheels on the ground. What started as a feminist initiative quickly turned into a passionate team, dedicated to the sport and culture of roller derby. Their founding goal remains an important part of the team's character today: "to bring queer-feminist contact sports on roller skates to Innsbruck and to take down conventional ideas of femininity* in a strong, courageous and self-determined way."

The Summitt is collaborating with The Flaherty to host one of the few global gatherings for its 70th Annual Film Seminar!! This year's film program is ONWARD!! 

This is an opportunity to join some particularly curated screenings and discussions for some truly rare finds in cinema!! We've agreed to not disclose any specific information about the particular films and filmmakers until they are released throughout the seminar's opening weekend, but we can say that there are some OUTSTANDING and truly STRIKING films that are sure to not only catch your attention but will certainly add to your archive of cinema experience and stimulate some intriguing conversations! If you enjoy experimental, documentary and conceptual films that serve to spark a critical lens, these film screening sessions are for you! Even if you're not a 'film expert' and you have an interest or curiosity about film and the ideas that pertain to 'ONWARD', Join Us!! :)

The screenings will be followed by a discussion. We expect between 15-20+ guests, and invite you to bring additional guests if you are able to contribute to the gathering.  We ask that you please forward them the sign-up form and have them register. Notes from the current curators of the 70th Flaherty Film Seminar:

Onward! is a call to move through obstacles with collective action. Onward! is the call of the artist, the activist, the doula, the hopeful, the grieving - the people in the midst of painful transition. Onward! is animated both by the urgency of change, and the patience to know that liberation must come, will come. Onward! embraces the battlefield as the terrain of greater possibility. Freedom is an ongoing state of insistence that is carried forward in each act of making, questioning, resisting, remembering. Onward! is to stay the course and trust in the process of change.

Movement is not solitary. Onward! calls for collectivity, for curiosity, for entanglement, for hope, for solidarity across generations. Onward! is propelled by calls from the past, which too believed in the potency of the moment, and of all moments yet to come. Onward! celebrates coexisting and futurities.

Despite RuPaul’s Drag Race empire spanning 16 years, nearly 20 countries, and hundreds of gorgeous drag divas, the show has never cast a drag king.

So, instead of waiting to be invited to the party, the drag kings are throwing their own.
