It is this superior actually real and uncanny hospitality of the athlete, all of those/us who relentlessly set out to outplay ‘towards a future that is not future enough', that becomes a matter-of-fact figuration for the human experience, challenging us to confront and embrace our own capacities for growth and transformation.
